Raipur. On the occasion of World Post Day, a press conference was held in the office located in Jaistambh Chowk of the capital Raipur. In this press conference, on completion of 150 years of Post Office, the theme of empowering people was kept. Various programs were organized on this occasion, which are going to run from 7 to 11 October. Three girls from the state were awarded in the letter writing competition. In this five-day program, the public will be given information about the services of various post offices.
Let us tell you, this event has been organized to give maximum publicity to the services of the Postal Department distributed on different days. Continuous work is being done to expand postal services to the people of urban and rural areas.
Chhattisgarh Post Office Board Director Dinesh Mistry said that there are 150 post offices in the state. This 5-day program has been organized to recycle them. In this, we are celebrating post office’s home related services, parcel related services, financial services, insurance services, practical services, such services.
All the schemes of the Postal Department, including savings insurance and logistics services, should be publicized as much as possible. More and more people should know what’s new going on in the department and how many useful services there are, so that people living in remote areas of urban and rural areas can also get services.
