Sunday marked a milestone for South Delhi as CM Rekha Gupta inaugurated ₹300 crore development ventures in Badarpur, Sangam Vihar, and Deoli. Far from mere figures, this is a blueprint for sweeping urban revival.
Envisaged upgrades span paved roads, advanced drainage, pure water access, bright streets, verdant parks, medical outposts, and event venues. Badarpur’s ₹85 crore launch underscored landfill elimination efforts, with pledges of open processes, punctual delivery, and premium standards to position it as Delhi’s benchmark.
In Sangam Vihar (₹115 crore), Gupta confronted historical injustices—shoddy roads, sewer spills, impure supplies—declaring an end to delays. Massive reconstructions in transport, sanitation, hydration, and lighting will foster secure, respectable living.
Deoli’s ₹104 crore efforts propel developed Delhi forward: innovative roads, broadened sewers, resilient pipes, landscaped zones, and wellness-community facilities. ‘Anticipated basics transition from dream to deed,’ she proclaimed.
Gupta framed the mission as profound impact on human experience, rescuing South Delhi from prolonged disregard into a paragon of progress, purity, protection, and prowess. Echoing attendees like MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, she aligned with PM Modi’s capital elevation goal, earning applause for the generous allocation. This campaign heralds a reinvigorated future.
