The Congress party mourns the loss of Rameshwar Dudi, a senior leader and former Leader of the Opposition in the Rajasthan Assembly. He died at his home in Bikaner at the age of 62 after a prolonged illness. Dudi had been in a coma for more than two years due to a brain stroke he suffered in August 2023. He was a respected leader within the Congress party and a well-known figure in the state. Dudi served as Leader of the Opposition in the Rajasthan Assembly during the BJP government from 2013 to 2018 and also represented Bikaner as a Member of Parliament. His wife, Sushila Dudi, is a sitting Congress MLA. The funeral will be held later today in Bikaner.
