Further highlighting the visit, President Nikos Christodoulides presented PM Modi with the Grand Cross of the Order of Makarios III, the highest Cypriot honor. PM Modi dedicated the award to the people of India and the strong relationship between the two nations. The visit, which marked the first by an Indian Prime Minister in 20 years, also involved engagements with the Indian community and business leaders, aiming to deepen the relationship between Cyprus and India.
