Tensions simmer in UP politics as Minister Dayashankar Singh unleashes on Akhilesh Yadav’s SP and allies, labeling their much-touted PDA strategy a hollow gimmick rooted in nepotism, especially in the wake of Women’s Reservation Bill clashes.

Answering SP’s charges in a Lucknow presser, Singh spotlighted opposition tactics against the bill: ‘They dread female leadership, partying over its setbacks—anti-women to the core.’ He accused dynastic outfits of family-only promotions, thwarting a landmark empowerment law.

Echoing PM Modi’s determination, Singh affirmed the fight persists. Replying to SP’s reservation stance, he recounted regime failures: lawlessness reigned, atrocities on women unchecked, felons’ free access to police brass post-jail, brazen officer assaults at SP sites. ‘Every outing for girls meant family anxiety.’

‘Yogi’s era changed it all—women navigate nights safely on two-wheelers,’ he celebrated. ‘SP’s criminal coddling precluded this reality.’

On PDA’s fluid identity, Singh sneered: ‘Shifts from backwards to minorities, women, youth—pure opportunism. SP’s ladder is family-reserved; no leadership shots for others. Confess: SP power return means family CM, not PDA? Yet they obstructed women’s rights.’

This verbal duel highlights governance contrasts, bolstering BJP’s image as genuine reformer against opposition’s alleged elitism.
