Ahead of the Devasnana Purnima on June 11, 2025, Puri Police has issued a detailed traffic advisory. The advisory is designed to manage the influx of devotees expected for the Lord’s bathing ceremony. The plan includes specific routes and parking zones to mitigate traffic issues, with restrictions primarily affecting four-wheelers. LMVs from Brahmagiri will be rerouted towards the beach, while those from Bhubaneswar will be guided to parking areas via Jail Road and other locations, with alternative parking options available. Traffic from Konark will be directed to designated parking, with return routes specified. Two-wheelers are allowed on Grand Road, with parking at the Municipality Market complex. Three-wheelers will have designated routes, including passenger drop-off points and restricted areas around the temple.
