A transformative shift in healthcare is underway in the Bastar division, driven by the Next Gen e-Hospital initiative and the Ayushman Bharat programs. These advancements, supported by Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, are modernizing healthcare delivery. The e-Hospital system streamlines various hospital functions onto a unified digital platform across multiple healthcare facilities, improving patient care. The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, including Health Facility and Professional Registrations, is also playing a key role. ABHA kiosks facilitate the creation of health accounts, while features like ‘Scan & Share’ and ABHA ID-based online OPD registration are creating smoother patient experiences. The positive results are reflected in the high percentage of OPD registrations linked to ABHA, demonstrating the system’s impact. The initiatives not only save time but also provide patients with accessible digital health records. This model, championed by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, aims to improve healthcare accessibility and quality across the entire state, fostering a ‘Healthy and Empowered Chhattisgarh’. Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal views the initiative as a model for the state to promote accessible and quality healthcare.
