The district of Doda in Jammu and Kashmir was struck by a devastating cloudburst on Tuesday, August 26th, leading to four fatalities and the damage of more than ten homes. The heavy downpour caused extensive flash flooding throughout the area, adding to the challenges faced by the local population. This incident comes shortly after similar events in Kathua and Kishtwar. The IMD has issued a weather alert, predicting heavy rainfall for various parts of Jammu. Schools in the Jammu division will be closed as a safety precaution due to the severe weather.
