A man in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, who used YouTube to advise others on ethical living and staying away from crime has been arrested by the police. The individual, known as Manoj Singh, operated the YouTube channel ‘Change Your Life.’ He would post content during the day but was involved in theft at night. Singh, a resident of Cuttack, was apprehended by the police from Khandagiri Badi. He presented himself online as a self-help guru. His YouTube channel, ‘Change Your Life,’ featured daily posts offering guidance on crime-free living and principled behavior. Authorities seized 200 grams of gold jewelry and 1 lakh rupees from his possession. The police revealed that Singh was involved in multiple theft incidents, with over ten cases registered against him. The arrest was a result of an investigation into a recent theft at Khandagiri Badi. The police had been monitoring Singh’s activities for approximately one week. The police are urging people to exercise caution and to be wary of the authenticity of online figures. The house owner, whose home was robbed on August 14, stated that both she and her husband were away from home at the time of the theft. Upon their return, they discovered the main gate and locker room tampered with and all their gold jewelry and a cash of 5 lakh rupees missing.
