From June 8 to 14, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will be undertaking a crucial visit to France and Belgium, focusing on enhancing strategic partnerships and discussing critical issues. The visit includes a series of high-level meetings with foreign ministers and other officials in both countries, along with a key strategic dialogue with the EU’s Kaja Kallas. In France, he will discuss India’s stance on counter-terrorism and participate in the Mediterranean Raisina Dialogue. Furthermore, he will highlight the 25-year-long strategic partnership between India and France. In Belgium, Jaishankar will hold talks with the Belgian Foreign Minister and engage with leaders in the European Commission and Parliament. This trip is designed to strengthen collaborative efforts across trade, investment, and other essential areas, reinforcing India’s commitment to its European partnerships.
