Authorities in Bengaluru have arrested three individuals in connection with the recovery of explosive materials at the Kalasipalya BMTC Bus Stand. The arrests were a result of police efforts utilizing technical surveillance and local tip-offs. The discovery of the explosives, including gelatin sticks and detonators, caused alarm due to the bus stand’s heavy daily usage. The investigation, overseen by senior police officers, led to the recovery of a significant amount of explosive material, including 22 gelatin sticks and 30 detonators. Police have stated that the probe is ongoing and are actively seeking additional suspects. The arrests coincide with a series of recent hoax bomb threats targeting private schools in the area, prompting evacuations and emergency responses.
