Rahul Gandhi’s accusations of vote manipulation have drawn sharp criticism from Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Gandhi, who had previously promised a major expose on vote theft, presented allegations of fraudulent vote removals at a press conference. Fadnavis responded by accusing Gandhi of spreading falsehoods, particularly regarding his promised ‘hydrogen bomb.’ Fadnavis derided Gandhi’s claims as insignificant, calling the anticipated revelation a ‘dud.’ He accused Gandhi of being a serial liar, yet acknowledged his ability to present lies convincingly to the national media. Fadnavis asserted that Gandhi’s highly publicized ‘hydrogen bomb’ was completely false, as the country was expecting a major disclosure that did not happen. He claimed Gandhi consistently makes unfounded statements without providing proof, comparing this tactic to Joseph Goebbels’ propaganda strategy. Fadnavis further alleged that Gandhi’s constant lying disrespects the constitution, the judiciary, and the Election Commission, and that this approach would not be effective in India. He suggested that the people of Bihar would continue to support Prime Minister Modi.
