A devastating incident in Maharashtra’s Gondia district resulted in the death of a five-year-old boy after a leopard attack. The event unfolded in Sanjaynagar village, part of the Arjuni Morgaon tehsil. The victim, identified as Ansh Prakash Mandal, was accompanied by his grandmother on the day of the attack, September 25th, when he was seized by the animal. Medical efforts to save the child were unsuccessful; he was declared dead at the hospital. The local populace expressed their grief and anger through a protest, leading to a road blockade. Forest officials later arrived at the scene to manage the situation.
