Poonam Patel, a resident of Dantewada district, is receiving support to continue her UPSC preparation despite the recent floods that damaged her home and possessions. Poonam’s house was destroyed, and her books and tablet were lost in the floodwaters. Her father, a shopkeeper, had saved diligently to provide her with a tablet for her studies. Recognizing her plight, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai intervened. The district administration, acting on the Chief Minister’s instructions, has provided Poonam with a new tablet and essential books, enabling her to pursue her dream of becoming an administrative officer.
