Jammu Police, South Zone, has made significant progress in the Gangyal firing case, apprehending four individuals. The case, registered under FIR No. 68/2025, involves violations of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Arms Act. The accused, identified as Surinder Singh, Harjot Singh, Raman Kumar, and Mohd Ashraf, are now in custody. The arrests were made after diligent efforts by the Police Station Gangyal team, supervised by SSP Jammu, SP City South, and SDPO South. The investigation aims to dismantle the wider criminal network and ascertain the complete scope of their operations, with further arrests anticipated. The arrested individuals have a history of criminal activity.
