A man from Ghaziabad, Harsh Vardhan Jain, was arrested for impersonating an ambassador of micronations and orchestrating a money laundering operation. Jain used a manipulated photograph with Prime Minister Modi to deceive people and create an illusion of authority. He drove vehicles with forged number plates and presented himself as a consul and ambassador of several micronations. His activities involved a Hawala racket managed through shell companies, promising fake jobs in foreign countries. Authorities uncovered his ties to global arms dealers, including Adnan Khashoggi, from 2011.
