Gopalpur Beach Incident: Woman Raped, Friend Bound; Delhi Man Killed in Robbery

In Odisha, a woman was subjected to a gang rape at Gopalpur Beach, a well-known tourist destination in the Ganjam district. Her male companion was reportedly restrained during the assault. The victim has lodged a complaint with the local police, leading to the detention of seven individuals for inquiry. In a separate development, Delhi Police have made arrests in a case involving the murder of a man who was stabbed while resisting a mobile phone theft. Three minors were apprehended, and the authorities recovered the murder weapon and the victim’s belongings. The man had sustained fatal stab wounds and was pronounced dead at Deep Chand Bandhu Hospital. The police are investigating both incidents.
