Gurdaspur Woman’s Violent Attack on Mother-in-Law Caught on Camera

The son captured the violent episode, which involved physical abuse and hair-pulling. The video quickly went viral, prompting the Punjab State Commission of Women to take action. The incident occurred in Gurdaspur. The son disclosed that his mother regularly abused his grandmother, Gurbajan Kaur. The recording shows Harjeet verbally abusing the victim and pushing her. The daughter-in-law escalated the violence by hitting her mother-in-law with a steel glass before breaking it, and then slapping her. The elderly victim, a widow, has stated that her daughter-in-law is seeking control of her property. The grandson mentioned his mother’s substance abuse issues. When questioned why he didn’t intervene, the son explained he recorded the assault for evidence, given his past experiences with false accusations from his mother. Police have issued a warning to the accused individual.
