The upcoming Diwali celebrations may see significant rainfall across parts of India, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The weather agency predicts heavy showers for states including Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana, with the forecast extending until October 18. A bulletin released on October 14 indicates that thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and strong winds are probable over the next several days. Meanwhile, the monsoon is expected to retreat from Odisha, Maharashtra, and northeastern states, signaling a shift in seasonal weather patterns. For Delhi, however, clear skies and pleasant temperatures between 31-33°C are anticipated.
