A court in Shillong, Meghalaya, has ordered Sonam Raghuvanshi and Raj Kushwaha to be held in judicial custody for 13 days concerning the death of Raja Raghuvanshi. The police did not seek custody, resulting in the court’s decision for judicial remand. The other accused, Akash Rajput, Vishal Singh Chauhan, and Anand, are already in 14-day judicial custody. The case involves the murder of Raja Raghuvanshi, who was on his honeymoon. His body was discovered near Sohra (Cherrapunji) after he and his wife went missing. One of the murder weapons, a machete, is still missing. The phone of the deceased was damaged by Sonam and Vishal after the murder.
