A major accident involving a Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus near Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, has led to a significant number of casualties. The incident, which took place in the Maseran area of Sarkaghat on July 24, resulted in the deaths of at least seven people and injuries to several others. The site of the accident is approximately 60 kilometers from Mandi district. The Chief Minister’s Principal Media Advisor reported that the government is actively engaged in rescue and relief efforts, with the injured being transported to hospitals for treatment. Initial investigations point towards a possible road collapse caused by heavy rainfall as a contributing factor to the crash.
