A shocking murder has been reported in Hyderabad, Telangana, where a woman, with the assistance of her lover, killed her husband. The perpetrators attempted to make the death appear as a result of a heart attack. While the woman has been apprehended by the police, her accomplice remains at large. The police have initiated a case against the woman and her lover and are currently conducting a thorough investigation. The victim has been identified as Jelela Shekhar. The accused woman, Chitti, was married to Shekhar. Her lover, Harish, was involved in the crime. The couple resided in Kodandaram Nagar, Sarurnagar, Hyderabad, and had been married for 16 years, blessed with two children. Shekhar worked as a cab driver, providing for his family.
The wife, Chitti, initiated an affair with Harish, taking advantage of her husband’s work-related absences. As their relationship deepened, an illicit affair began. This affair remained clandestine for a period. Shekhar’s suspicion grew, and he began to monitor his wife’s activities, eventually discovering the affair. Shekhar confronted his wife, Chitti, about her infidelity. The response from Chitti and her lover, Harish, was that Shekhar was an impediment to their relationship, thus they plotted his murder. After returning home from work, Shekhar ate dinner and went to sleep. While he was in a deep sleep, Chitti summoned Harish to their home.
One of them strangled him, and the other struck him on the head with a dumbbell. To avoid suspicion, Chitti dialed 100 to inform the police. Upon arriving at the scene, the Sarurnagar police transported Shekhar to the hospital, where doctors confirmed his death was due to a head injury. Shekhar’s body was then taken to the Osmania Hospital mortuary. Chitti was taken into custody and questioned. Initially, she claimed her husband had suffered a heart attack and died while sleeping. However, after persistent questioning, she confessed to the murder, admitting she had conspired with her lover to kill her husband. Family members have indicated that there had been some disagreements between the couple for some time. The police are actively investigating the case, and the hunt for the fugitive lover, Harish, continues.
