Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan kicked off an influential AI roundtable at IIT Delhi, uniting 10 EdTech disruptors to strategize AI’s infusion into Indian education. Echoing NEP 2020, the talks emphasized scalable solutions for better learning outcomes nationwide.
With Ministers Sukanta Majumdar and Jayant Chaudhary in attendance, the spotlight fell on innovators like Arivihan, Fermi AI, Khare AI, Seekho, SpeakX, SuperKalam, Supernova, Vedantu, ConveGenius, and Vironan. Their AI platforms target school education, exam readiness, professional skills, and linguistics, empowering students in remote locales.
This precedes the India AI Impact Summit, paving the way for broader AI adoption in edtech.
Concurrently, Pradhan unveiled two Rs 430 crore projects. Academic Block-103, IIT Delhi’s pioneering 10-floor edifice (5 lakh sq ft), includes 31 lecture halls, 150 labs, 150 offices, auditoriums, cafes, and banking— a hub for academic excellence.
Girls Hostel-50 spans 3.9 lakh sq ft for 1,400 students, offering wardrobe-equipped rooms, study desks, charging stations, and dining facilities. Green building norms prevail with solar power, water recycling, biodiversity preservation, and no tree felling.
IIT Director Prof. Rangan Banerjee, officials, faculty, and students marked the occasion. Through AI advancements and superior facilities, the government is reshaping education to be inclusive, innovative, and sustainable.
