Tejashwi Yadav, a prominent RJD figure and former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, has announced that the INDIA alliance will hold a meeting at Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s residence. The primary focus of the meeting will be the Special Intensive Review (SIR) exercise. Yadav highlighted that the alliance is writing to all its senior leaders to inform them about the upcoming meeting.
In his media interaction, Tejashwi Yadav clarified that while the alliance has no issue with the SIR exercise itself, they are concerned about the process, which they believe is detrimental to democratic principles. He stated the alliance’s resolve to oppose it and confirmed the meeting at Mallikarjun Kharge’s residence on July 19th.
