As part of the ongoing investigation into the Meghalaya honeymoon murder, Shillong police have confiscated a CCTV DVR from the Indore home of Shilom James. James, a property dealer who reportedly rented a flat to a suspect named Sonam, was apprehended on June 21st while attempting to flee to Bhopal. The recovered DVR is considered vital evidence that could provide further clarity on the death of Raja Raghuvanshi. James is accused of helping Sonam conceal evidence, including jewelry, a laptop, and potentially a weapon belonging to another suspect, Raj Kushwaha. In related developments, Lokendra Tomar, another individual implicated in the case, appeared before the Gwalior District court. Police also detained Balvir Ahirwar, a watchman and carpenter who worked at a flat where Sonam took refuge after the murder, for questioning regarding the case.
