In a significant counter-terrorism operation, the Indian Army successfully eliminated three terrorists in the Harwan area of Srinagar, Kashmir, under Operation Mahadev. A post on X from the army highlighted the intense firefight, confirming the neutralization of the terrorists. The operation is ongoing, with the encounter starting in the Lidwas area. The operation involved a joint search and cordon by police, army, and CRPF. The exchange of fire began when security forces reached the suspected location in the forests of Mulnar near Dachigam National Park. Additional reinforcements were dispatched to the site to bolster the operation.
