In Tokyo, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai met with key figures from the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) – Mr. Nakajo Kazuya, Mr. Ando Yuji, and Mr. Hara Harunobu – during his ongoing visit to Japan. The discussions revolved around potential investments and industrial partnerships. The Chief Minister underscored Chhattisgarh’s considerable advantages in sectors like IT, textiles, aerospace, automobiles, electronics, and clean energy. He invited the JETRO delegation to investigate investment opportunities within the state’s burgeoning economy. He pointed out that Chhattisgarh, located in the heart of India, is an emerging destination for industrial development and investment, supported by transparent policies, simplified procedures, and a solid industrial framework. The discussions with JETRO representatives are expected to boost economic ties between Chhattisgarh and Japan. Additionally, Chief Minister Sai visited the ‘Deep Space – To the Moon & Beyond’ exhibition, held to mark National Space Day. He stated that this glimpse into space science and innovation would provide direction and inspiration for the upcoming Space Manufacturing Cluster in Rajnandgaon, a project backed by the Government of India. Expressing optimism about the visit’s outcomes, Chief Minister Sai anticipated concrete results in investment, innovation, and technology transfer, emphasizing the Chhattisgarh government’s commitment to industrial self-reliance and global prominence through international cooperation.
