A successful two-day free health camp organized by St. Columbus Mission Hospital in Hazaribagh concluded on Wednesday, offering medical aid to 1323 individuals. Located across from the Rabindra Path electricity office, the hospital provided free consultations, BP monitoring, cancer screenings, and medications to numerous underserved patients. The camp also included specialized services such as dental and eye examinations, blood sugar and hemoglobin testing, and expert neurological advice. Significant discounts were offered on ultrasounds and other diagnostic tests. A substantial turnout of needy individuals, including children, women, and men, utilized the opportunity to receive much-needed medical attention. Hospital administrator Dr. Praveen Srinivasan highlighted the camp’s mission to ensure that economic hardships do not prevent people from accessing vital healthcare. He reiterated the hospital’s ongoing efforts to conduct similar health camps to promote well-being and address health concerns within the community. The initiative aimed to deliver quality healthcare and raise awareness about prevalent diseases, with a team of dedicated doctors and medical staff playing a crucial role.
