The Bharatiya Janata Party has made a significant organizational change in Jharkhand, appointing Rajya Sabha MP Aditya Sahu as the Executive President of the state BJP. This appointment, replacing Ravindra Kumar Rai, takes effect immediately. The announcement came via a letter released by National Secretary Arun Singh.
Aditya Sahu was previously the in-charge of the Kolhan division during the Jharkhand assembly elections. He was nominated to the Rajya Sabha in 2022 by BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh and won his seat unopposed. Before this appointment, Sahu served as the General Secretary of the Jharkhand BJP. Dr. Ravindra Kumar Roy, the former MP from Koderma, was previously the Executive President, a role he held leading up to the 2024 assembly elections.
