Akhilesh Yadav, the Samajwadi Party President and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, visited Nemra in Ramgarh to pay his respects to the late Shibu Soren. He assured her that the entire state of Jharkhand stood with her in this difficult time, and that her strength would be a source of resilience for her son, the Chief Minister. He noted that Shibu Soren dedicated his life to the upliftment of the underprivileged, and his legacy would continue to inspire generations. The traditional Shradh ceremony for the late Shibu Soren was observed on its eighth day, with Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his family performing the rituals according to tradition, praying for the peace of the departed soul.
