In connection with the ongoing investigation concerning former Barkagaon Congress MLA Amba Prasad, the ED collected essential documents from Hazaribagh DMO. The agency is focusing on evidence related to illegal sand mining, scrutinizing the acquired documentation. The ED had earlier conducted a survey at the Hazaribagh DMO office, where they seized some documents, with the remaining documents being collected now. The investigation is following an ECIR against Amba Prasad’s family, which prompted raids on July 4th. These raids targeted Amba Prasad’s office, her brother’s CA, and others associated with sand businesses. The ED seized documents connected to unlawful sand trade during the operation.
