BCCL Attendance Clerk Alleges Assault by Colleague and Others in Dhanbad

An attendance clerk, Hardev Kumar Yadav, has reported an incident of assault involving Shivlal Ram, another attendance clerk, and three other individuals at the Dahibari OCP in the BCCL CV Area of Dhanbad. The complaint details that the assault occurred while Yadav was on duty on Wednesday night. The attackers reportedly damaged the attendance register and confiscated his mobile phone. The root of the conflict, as claimed by Yadav, was pressure to manipulate attendance records. The incident led to discussions between the Joint Front and Project Officer Debashish Chakraborty. The project officer assured that a departmental inquiry would be conducted and a case would be filed. Efforts to obtain a statement from Shivlal Ram have been unsuccessful.
