A significant boost for Lohardaga’s agricultural economy is underway with specialized beekeeping training. The Horticulture Department conducted a successful three-day workshop in Utka village, Kairo block, culminating in the distribution of vital beekeeping resources. Deputy Commissioner Dr. Kumar Tarachand graced the occasion, stressing that collaborative efforts in honey production can elevate Lohardaga to a leading position. He encouraged farmers to diversify their income streams by adopting integrated agricultural practices and livestock farming, assuring them of the district administration’s commitment to market linkage and support for increased yields.
