During Krishna Janmashtami celebrations at Albert Ekka Chowk in Ranchi, a Dahi Handi competition was organized, attracting a large audience. Alongside the competition, cultural events were also underway. Prominent figures like the Governor of Jharkhand, the Union Minister of State for Defence, and a local MLA were present. An individual in a burqa was noticed among the crowd, leading to suspicion. Upon being apprehended and the burqa removed, the person was identified as Pramod, a resident of Kishanganj in Ranchi. The incident caused surprise and concern among the attendees. Pramod was handed over to the Kotwali police station, who then took him into custody. The police are currently investigating the motives behind Pramod’s actions.
