Ranchi, Indian Institute of Information Technology Ranchi formally inaugurated the technical program of its annual techno-cultural festival Celestio 3.0 at the ARTC BSNL campus on Monday. The three-day festival began in an enthusiastic and visionary atmosphere, with students, faculty members, and participants from various institutions taking part.
The inauguration ceremony, held at 11:30 AM, clearly reflected the institute’s commitment to promoting innovation, creativity, and collaborative learning. The program was formally inaugurated by Dr. Shashi Kant Sharma. This was followed by a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony as a symbol of knowledge and light, in the presence of dignitaries including Dr. Shashi Kant Sharma, Dr. Roshan Singh, Dr. J.K. Mishra, Dr. Santosh Kumar Mahto, Dr. Gaurav Sundaram, and Mr. Rishikesh Pandey.
Adding a cultural touch to the event, the members of the Saaz Club presented a captivating Saraswati Vandana. The guests were then felicitated.
During the inaugural session, the organizing team presented the outline of various technical and cultural programs to be held under Celestio 3.0. The aim of this festival is to provide a strong platform for students to showcase their talent, exchange ideas, and engage in meaningful participation.
The main attraction of the inaugural day was the motivational speaker session conducted by Mr. Rishikesh Pandey, which greatly inspired the students present. Mr. Pandey, considered one of the leading educators in Jharkhand, is known for his impactful mission “Now Every Child Will Read,” which aims to bring quality education to all. He is also the founder of Second School, a significant initiative dedicated to educating underprivileged students in Jharkhand and contributing to the creation of an inclusive and sustainable education system.
This event was organized under the patronage of the Honorable Director of IIIT Ranchi, Prof. Rajeev Srivastava.
Following the inaugural ceremony, technical activities were successfully launched. With enthusiastic participation and an inspiring start, Celestio 3.0 is poised to become a significant celebration of talent, innovation, and collaboration.
