The Kokar Industrial Area faces significant challenges, including poor sanitation, rampant garbage, and inadequate infrastructure. Industrial waste litters the streets, and clogged drains emit foul odors. The lack of regular cleaning and maintenance has resulted in a worsening situation. Moreover, the area is seeing a shift from industrial units to vehicle servicing centers and showrooms, which often lack adequate parking, leading to congestion. Heavy vehicles also contribute to traffic issues by parking on the roads overnight. The situation creates daily traffic jams from morning till night on the road that connects Lalpur and Kantatoli, causing accidents.
