Chakradharpur, Western Singhbhum: A solemn tribute was paid to Devendra Majhi, the pioneer of the ‘Water, Forest, Land’ movement, at the residence of MP Joba Majhi. The ceremony, held on Tuesday at the MP’s Pump Road residence, saw numerous individuals gather to commemorate Majhi’s sacrifice. MP Joba Majhi, her son MLA Jagat Majhi, and a host of community members and relatives offered floral tributes at the memorial. After the homage, MP Majhi and MLA Majhi, accompanied by their supporters, proceeded to Goilkera to attend another commemorative event. This event underscored the enduring impact of Devendra Majhi’s activism on the region.
