Double Murder in Dumka: Investigation Underway After Brutal Attack on Elderly Woman and Granddaughter

Following the double murder in Aamchua village under the Shikharipara police station area of Dumka district, a state of panic has gripped the region. Upon receiving the news of the double homicide, the Shikharipara police arrived at the scene and took possession of the bodies of the two deceased women, Sona Baski (70) and Sona Murmu (approximately 20), for a post-mortem examination at Phulo Jhano Medical College Hospital. The police also summoned a forensic team to collect evidence from the crime scene and initiated an investigation into the matter.
