Dream Homes Realized: 109 Beneficiaries Move into New Abua Awas Homes

The Torpa region witnessed a heartwarming event as 109 families were welcomed into their newly constructed homes on Wednesday. This massive housing initiative, predominantly driven by the Abua Awas Yojana, has transformed the lives of many, turning the dream of homeownership into a tangible reality. The handed-over residences include 95 units under the Abua Awas Yojana, 13 under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, and one under the Ambedkar Awas Yojana, collectively offering secure and dignified living spaces. At the central event held in the block office, district council member Sushanti Kongadi officially presented the keys and crucial documentation to the ecstatic recipients. She emphasized the government’s dedication to eradicating homelessness and providing every family with a proper dwelling through such impactful schemes. The beneficiaries expressed profound gratitude for the government’s intervention, which has significantly uplifted their socio-economic status.
