Dumka Man Kills Girlfriend’s Parents After Relationship Rejection

Fueled by anger, the girlfriend’s boyfriend arrived at the house of his beloved, Heeramurni Hembram, in Sundarplan village, under the Shikaripara police station area of Dumka district, on the night of September 1st. He entered the house and murdered her parents, Saheb Hembram and Mangli Kisku, by slitting their throats with a sharp weapon. Not satisfied with this, the boyfriend then attacked Heeramuni Hembram and her younger sister, Beni Hembram, who were sleeping in another room of the house, stabbing them repeatedly with a knife, causing injuries. He then fled the scene and spent the night in a forest in Dumka. To evade the police, he hid in the homes of his relatives the following day.
