Following a weather forecast from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicting severe rainfall in East Singhbhum district, all schools have been ordered to close on July 10, 2025. The order, issued by District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi, affects all educational institutions up to the 12th grade, including government, private, and minority schools. The closure aims to protect students and address potential disruptions caused by the anticipated heavy downpour. Schools are required to arrange online classes to ensure educational continuity.
