Troubles have mounted for Inspector Meera Singh, who has a history of being embroiled in controversies. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed a Prosecution Complaint (PC) against Meera Singh, the former in-charge of Tupuudana OP, in connection with case number ECIR 8/2025. The court is yet to take notice of the ED’s PC. The ED had previously raided Inspector Meera Singh’s premises in March of the previous year. During the raid, authorities seized ₹12.50 lakh in cash from the locations associated with the accused individuals. The ED has taken over the case from the ACB. Inspector Meera Singh is the first police officer to be named as an accused by the ED. Currently, she is out on bail in a case handled by the ACB.
