A devastating event unfolded in Markachcho, Koderma, where a 30-year-old man, identified as Saddam Ansari, lost his life in an elephant attack. According to reports, Saddam, along with two friends, was attempting to film the elephant when the animal suddenly turned aggressive. The elephant knocked Saddam to the ground and then inflicted fatal injuries. He was initially taken to a local hospital and later referred to Ranchi, but died en route near Hazaribagh. The elephant was spotted earlier that morning in the forests of Salaiya Pahari, where it had damaged a motorcycle. Saddam, who worked in the marble industry, leaves behind a family, including two young children. The community is now gripped by fear following the incident.
