A man in Simdega, Jharkhand, was allegedly murdered by his own son after a dispute arose over the sale of a bull. The son, identified as Celestine Kindo, reportedly attacked his father, Sylvester Kindo, with an axe while under the influence of alcohol. The mother, Basanti Kindo, attempted to stop the attack but was also assaulted, though she managed to flee. The father died at the scene from his injuries. Local police were notified and arrested the son. The incident has led to widespread shock and condemnation in the village. This event is reminiscent of another case in the Gumla district, where a son killed his parents using an axe following a domestic quarrel.
