In the wake of the Deoghar bus accident, the Health Minister of Jharkhand, Dr. Irfan Ansari, has declared financial aid for the affected individuals. Families of those who lost their lives in the accident will be granted one lakh rupees. Injured individuals will receive twenty thousand rupees each. The minister made this announcement after visiting the injured in Deoghar. During his visit, the minister interacted with the injured and inquired about their well-being. He instructed the Civil Surgeon and AIIMS director to ensure that all injured people receive adequate medical attention. The accident resulted in the death of six people, including the driver, and left twenty-four others injured. Eight of the injured are currently receiving treatment at AIIMS. The compensation is to be disbursed from the Disaster Management Fund and the Baba Temple Welfare Fund. Free medical treatment, including all tests and medications, is being provided to the injured. The district administration will also facilitate the transportation of the injured after their treatment and the bodies of the deceased to their homes.
