A Muharram procession in Hazaribagh witnessed a tragic incident where 15 people were injured while performing fire stunts. The event took place on Sunday night in Turaun-Pota village. Police reported that the injuries were caused by a fire that broke out during the performance. The cause of the fire was attributed to a diesel container. The injured were promptly rushed to Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College & Hospital (SBMCCH). The hospital authorities stated that 15 people were admitted on Sunday night. Ten of those admitted were discharged on Monday morning at the request of their families. Currently, four individuals are still undergoing treatment. One severely injured person has been transferred to RIMS, Ranchi, for specialized medical care. A local eyewitness stated that the fire started from the diesel container from which fuel was being poured.
