In a significant move for the Ghartshila by-election, Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi has mandated cashless medical facilities for all personnel involved in polling and security duties. A key meeting with hospital administrators, both public and private, in East Singhbhum confirmed this commitment to staff welfare. The district administration emphasized that the health of every individual on election duty is paramount. Hospitals are instructed to provide immediate cashless medical care during any unforeseen circumstances, ensuring no delays. The Civil Surgeon will oversee the provisioning of essential medical supplies, medications, and qualified medical staff. Government and private hospitals must maintain a 24-hour emergency service readiness throughout the election. Close communication channels with the district control room and the health department are essential. Reimbursement for cashless treatments will be processed by the district administration upon submission of bills. Failure to comply with these directives will lead to disciplinary action.
