In a move to improve language skills, 23 schools in Hazaribagh are equipped with language labs. This initiative aims to enable students from classes 6 to 12 to speak English fluently. The language labs have been set up in 4 CBSE-based Chief Minister’s Excellent Schools and 19 Adarsh Schools. The project, which spans across 405 schools statewide, is managed by the Jharkhand Education Project Council (JEPC). The training for teachers, focused on the operation of these labs, is being conducted by Words Worth, a Gujarat-based NGO, for a period of three years.
