Dr. Irfan Ansari, the Health Minister of Jharkhand, has been threatened with death. The threatening call was received late Thursday night. The caller, using the number 7903928578, explicitly warned the minister that he would be killed within 24 hours. Minister Ansari was visiting Delhi at the time to see Minister Hafeezul Hasan Ansari, who was preparing for a heart surgery. The Health Minister has reported the threat to the Ranchi Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) and requested a police investigation.
