After conducting the last rites for Dishom Guru Shibu Soren, Chief Minister Hemant Soren will stay in his native village of Nemra for a duration of 13 days. This extended stay is to facilitate the completion of the 13th-day ceremony, a significant ritual in the Hindu tradition. The Chief Minister will conduct prayers to the Marang Buru deity, seeking peace for the soul of his father and political guru, Shibu Soren. The remembrance ceremonies will include participation from his wife, Kalpana Soren, his brother Basant Soren, extended family members, and local villagers. During this period, the Chief Minister’s office will be temporarily relocated to Nemra, enabling him to manage official duties from his ancestral home. The Ramgarh district administration is also setting up a temporary office in the village. Efforts are underway to establish reliable internet connectivity for the smooth operation of the office. A Jio setup is being constructed on the existing BSNL tower in Nemra. For the last two days, district officials and security personnel have been present in Nemra, relying on walkie-talkies due to the absence of mobile network. Recognizing the difficulties, measures are being taken to ensure uninterrupted mobile network and internet service for the next two weeks.
